OUR FIRST REATIL STORE – 2012
Royalex is founded in 2012. The first retail store was located at Avenida de Horta e Costa, the central of the city. With the advantages of convenient transportation, prosperous business area and cluster of middle-class, we opened the undeveloped precious metal coin market by selling low premium investment in Macau.
THE OPENING OF BRANCHES
As our first store was gradually going on track, more Royalex branches were opened one after another along with Macau’s rapid economic development.
Due to the huge potential demand in Taipa district, we opened our first branch within the Taipa senior residential area; Da Tang branch was beside the most prosperous area in Macau, that successfully caught lots of tourists and experienced collectors’ eye. Following from that, the Fortuna branch was opened to fulfil the demand of casino customers and tourists. Furthermore, the Royalex-Rocks Hotel located in Fisherman Wharf was soon in operation, to provide a more private and premium services especially for our VIPs.

CLASSIC PRODUCT PROMOTION RELEASE – 2014
“The World’s Largest 100kg Gold Coin Exhibition” was held by Royalex Group and Galaxy Group in 2014. This maple leaf gold coin was made by 99.999% pure gold, weighs 100 kg with a diameter of 53 cm, and it was valued at the amount of 40 million Hong Kong dollars. It was the only gold coin that reached the purity of 99.999% at that time, furthermore, it had also broken the Guinness World Record in 2007 as the largest gold coin in the world. Royalex caused a great sensation in the industry by introducing this 100kg maple leaf pure gold coin to Asia.
ESTABLISHMENT OF LOCAL B2B BUSINESS
In addition to the retail business, Royalex Group develops a stable collaboration with local banks, which includes Bank of China Credit Card (Macau), Tai Fung Bank and Banco National Ultramarino. Meanwhile, our partnership covers the six major gaming enterprises in Macau, including MGM Macau, Wynn Resorts Macau, Galaxy Entertainment Group, Venetian Macao Resort Hotel, Melco Crown Entertainment Limited and Sociedade de Jogos de Macau, S.A. Due to the huge demand of high-end gifting and souvenirs, Royalex become the main supplier to provide diversified, high-quality precious metal products. ACQUIREMENT OF MANUFACTURING AUTHORIZATION – 2015
Royalex becomes an authorized manufacturer of Royal Australian Mint. We are admitted producing the commemorative coins of Tokelau (NZD), Tuvalu (AUD), Kiribati, Solomon Islands (SBD), Kingdom of Tonga (TOP), Republic of Chad (XAF), Republic of Vanuatu (VUV) and Independent State of Papua New Guinea (PGK).
SELF-DEVELOP AND CUSTOMIZATION PROJECT – 2016
Royalex has developed many customization projects this year. Our “Chinese Lunar Series” is always the most popular among all creation. In addition, there are some more outstanding Chinese-themed projects like “Aerospace Science & Technology Series” and “Culture & History Series”, to present the achievement of human aerospace development and human history in thousands of years. By engraving historical moment and particular events on precious metal coins, future generations are able to get in touch with history in different form.
FORBIDDEN CITY COMMEMORATIVE PROJECT – 2017
Royalex launched the “Forbidden City Commemorative Coin Series” by cooperating with Beijing Palace Museum, the largest authorization of China’s intellectual property rights, with maximum mintage 300,000 sets.
WORLD LUNAR SERIES: YEAR OF PIG – 2018
In 2018, Royalex invested and coordinated the ” Year of Pig – World Lunar Series”. China, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom and Rwanda were participated in this project.
COLLABORATION WITH WORLD-CLASS ARTISTS – 2019
Royalex has been the pioneer to introduce cross-border cooperation with fashion brand IP . We invited the world most-renowned street artists: Ron English and Rob Prior to participate in two cross-cultural activities at the Royalex Tower. Meanwhile, Royelax launched a series of toy combining art, brand’s IP and precious metals elements, to take the lead of designer toy culture in Macau.
20TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE RETURN OF MACAO PROJECT
Royalex launched the “Glory-20-Years Commemorative Voucher” to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Macao’s return to Mainland China.
MACAU WORLD CULTURAL HERITAGE SERIES – 2020
Royalex picks twelve representative churches from “Macao Historic District” and launches the “Macau Heritage Churches Series- Sé Catedral、Igreja da Sé” in 2020. To emphasize our creativity, the stained glass in these churches are made and placed in a silver coin. With double combination of color density and light transmittance, the fascinating effect of ambilight will be projected.
WISHES DURING EPIDEMIC – LAND OF TREASURE LOTUS
Under the outbreak of COVID-19 epidemic, Royalex applied the regional flower of Macau – Lotus, the autograph “Treasure” of Emperor KangXi and map of Macau as the pattern of both side of the silver medal, to express the wish of longevity and prosperity to the Macau citizen.

Royalex ‘s digital cross-border consumption platform was established in 2021 by cooperating with China UnionPay. This platform allows global, especially Chinese UnionPay cardholders to purchase precious metal products from all over the world by their own will.
